Being recognized for his amazing vocals\, songwriting ability\, musicianship\, ability to produce records and entertain Fans with an upbeat\, outlandish show all make Mr. Sipp “The Total Package.” Above all of that\, Mr. Sipp is a God fearing family man. With over 125 recording credits to his name\, Mr. Sipp has played on over 50 national recordings with several Grammy ® nominated projects. He is well traveled and ready to come to play for you and spread his great gift of music to the World.\n​​Mr. Sipp is the 2014 International Blues Challenge Winner by way of The Vicksburg Blues Society as well as the 2014 Gibson Best Guitarist Award Winner. The same year Castro was given the Bobby Rush Entertainer of the Year Award by the Jus’ Blues Foundation. In 2015\, he won several Jackson Music Awards including International Male Blues Artist\, Blues Artist of the Year\, and Entertainer of the year.\nHe was the BMA Best New Artist Album winner 2016 and The Spirit of Little Walter Award 2016. The same year\, Castro was the first blues artist to have his handprint inducted into the Wall of Fame in Fredrikshavn Denmark. For the 25th Annual Living Blues Awards\, he won the Best Blues Album of 2017 New Recordings award (Contemporary Blues) with “Knock a Hole In It\,” and in 2018 he won the National Blues Artist of The Year award at 44th Annual Jackson Music Awards.​\nIn 2014\, Mr. Sipp was cast in the James Brown movie\, “Get on Up”\, in 2016 he was casted as the young B.B. His performance as a bassist has been top shelf\, as his memorable work with the late\, great Grover Washington Jr.\, Joe Zawinul\, and the Jaco Pastorius Big Band attests. Gerald Veasley’s chart-topping single “Groovivity\,” produced by Chris Big Dog Davis\, has consistently maintained a position in the top 25 on Smooth Jazz Stations from March 2024 to the present. When not collaborating with notable artists\, Gerald tours and records with his band\, which features some of the top musicians in the country. Gerald’s recordings as a bandleader are: Look Ahead\, Signs\, Soul Control\, Love Letters\, On The Fast Track\, Velvet\, Live at The Jazz Base\, Your Move and The Electric Mingus Project. Veasley teaches the history and fundamentals of the electric bass to musicians and educators\, both privately and at the university level. He has served on the faculty of the University of the Arts (Philadelphia) and is founder and artistic director of Gerald Veasley’s Bass BootCamp\, nurturing a growing army of bassists from all skill levels. Produced by Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith\, this is Eric at his most boldly vulnerable\, uncompromisingly political\, and unflinchingly confident. \nCrown was forged in tragedy but rises triumphantly. The day before Eric left Greensboro\, North Carolina to Los Angeles\, California to work with Joe and Josh\, he heard the news about the George Floyd murder. As a Black man in America\, he had a lot on his mind when he touched down in Music City to write songs for Crown. \n“What made George Floyd any different than me?\,” Eric asks. “As I began to chat about this to Joe and Josh during preproduction\, raw and unnerved emotion came out of me\, and Joe furiously scribbled down notes about it all. These songs came from those outpourings. They’re about my life\, and what’s happening in the world right now. When it came time to sing\, I had to take breaks between vocals to cry and let it out. I was sharing my experiences as a Black man\, and my private struggles. This is me letting the world know what I’ve been through.” \nSince 1991\, the Memphis-born guitarist has blazed a path reinvigorating the blues with a virtuosity and rock swagger that have him being heralded as the second coming of Jimi Hendrix. He was a child prodigy with bottomless talent and fierce determination\, and at just 16 years-old released his debut\, The Eric Gales Band\, on Elektra Records. He’s earned high praise by guitarists’ guitarist and household name axe men such as Joe Bonamassa\, Carlos Santana\, Dave Navarro\, and Mark Tremonti. In addition\, he has held his own with some of the greatest guitarists in the world\, including Carlos Santana at Woodstock 1994\, Zakk Wylde\, Eric Johnson\, and a posse of others as a featured guest touring with the Experience Hendrix Tour. \nThe story behind Crown dates back to the early 1990s when as teenagers Eric and Joe were both hailed as blues wunderkinds and torchbearers. Eric is three years older than Joe\, and Joe used to open for Eric. The pair went on to very different lives and careers\, but Eric’s full potential was hampered by his substance abuse issues. “While I was dealing with my affliction\, Joe’s career skyrocketed. I put myself in the backseat through my drug addiction. The world knows me\, but the world doesn’t know me\,” he says. In 2009\, Eric hit bottom and served jail time at Shelby County Correction Center for possession of drugs and a weapon. \nEric and Joe reconnected grandly in 2019 when Joe invited Eric to play with him onstage at a blues cruise encore performance. It was the first time the guys had played live together onstage in 25 years\, and it has since been named one of the most explosive guitar duels ever\, amassing over 3 million plays on YouTube. \n“There was always a brotherhood with us. When we reconnected\, Joe said to me\, ‘You’re a badass guitarist; it’s your turn to get your seat at the table to wear your crown’\,” Eric recalls. Shortly after their iconic face-melting jam\, Eric approached Joe to produce him. Along the way\, his concert attendees have included Academy® Award winner Morgan Freeman\, John Goodman\, and Vince Vaughn as well as Eric Clapton\, to name a few.\nMeanwhile\, Guitar World readers voted him one of “The 30 Best Blues Guitarists in the World Today” in 2019\, and the publication noted\, “Gomes is another power player who is at his best when his gear is in the scorched earth between blues and rock.” After seven consecutive Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Blues Albums Chart\, Containment Blues marked his second #1 on the respective chart in 2020. During 2021\, he signed to Rat Pak Records and assembled High Voltage Blues\, re-recording fan favorites from previous releases and cutting three new tunes. On five tracks\, Ray Luzier of Korn and Billy Sheehan [Mr. Big\, David Lee Roth\, The Winery Dogs] handled drums and bass\, respectively.
