SUMMARY:Enuff Z’nuff
DESCRIPTION:Enuff Z’nuff is a living\, breathing example of what a rock/ pop group should be. The band was formed in 1984 in Blue Island\, Illinois. Its first release\, “Fingers On It\,” gave the band some initial recognition when the track was featured in the 1986 cult movie Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. By 1989\, original members\, Chip Z’Nuff and Donnie Vie were joined by guitarist Derek Frigo and drummer Vikki Foxx. The band had signed with Atco/ Atlantic Records that same year and released their debut self-titled album. The album spawned two singles that would change the course of the band’s history\, ‘New Thing’ and ‘Fly High Michelle.’ Both songs were played constantly on the radio and gained heavy rotation on MTV spending over 60 weeks in the top 10. 1991 saw the band release its follow-up\, Strength. Rick’s single “Oh Well” climbed to #12 on Europe’s Top 100. Known for his soulful\, high-energy performances\, Rick has been touring the U.S.\, Canada\, and Europe for over three decades\, earning acclaim on festival stages and in top venues worldwide. Rick has shared the stage with B.B. King\, Gregg Allman\, & John Mayall on several occasions & with Robben Ford\, Etta James\, The Yardbirds\, Janiva Magness\, Chris Duarte\, J.J. Cale\, Debbie Davies\, Delbert McClinton\, Robby Krieger\, Coco Montoya\, Peter Wolfe\, William Clark\, Rod Piazza\, Guitar Shorty\, Joe Houston & many more. Rick started playing Blues Guitar in his late teens influenced by Eric Clapton\, Duane Allman\, Rory Gallagher\,Jeff Beck \,Jimi Hendrix \,& BB King. Rick played clubs in town even though he was barely old enough to get into a bar.
